Part 3 of my own sequel to Hero of the Rails. Hiro, in a colourful patchwork of parts, arrives at Barrow-in-Furness having gone down the Cumbrian Coast Line from Carlisle to take part in Race Night. The Diesel Gang mock Hiro as they all believe that he has no chance at racing, likewise do the Girl Engines. But, despite the teasing, Hiro explains that nobody can do it like a steam train.
