My five year old loves all things Thomas. I really like the take along because it’s smaller, cheaper, very durable. Highly recommend all take along Thomas.

These guys are definitely second tier characters. They appear as villians/bullies in several episodes. If your child makes up stories as he plays, he may want some villians in his set.
Other bad boy engines would include Diesel, and Diesel Ten. Diesels generally are cast as rivals to the coal powered “steamies”.
Salty is a “good” diesel, as is Mavis- a “female” diesel.
