How can one have Thomas and not Annie and Clarabel. Thomas can only be so useful without these charming companions. I mean where will the passengers sit? Who will coach Thomas around that fast and dangerous corner? And who will admonish Thomas when he becomes too cheeky?
To be more serious, I was not at all sure what my son (just turned 3) would think about the addition of these ladies, but now I can’t imagine how he would play without them. He just adores Annie and Clarabel and everywhere Thomas goes, they are sure to follow. Which means that the trio accompany him into the sand box and into the bath tub.
Very rugged toys, I highly recommend these two gals to keep Thomas company.

This was a Christmas present for my son and we didn’t notice until it was already opened that it was not what I had ordered. The set did come with Annie and Clarabel but they were die cast metal instead of the wood. At first I thought it wouldn’t be a problem but when we returned home from our Christmas vacation my son found that the wheels were not spaced wide enough apart and were not big enough to work on the grooves of his wooden tracks. Plus, the magnets on these cars are not oriented properly to attach correctly to his wooden Thomas.
Unfortunately the time has passed for me to return these. But if you do order them and want the cars to fit with your wooden railway I would confirm with the seller beforehand so you are not disappointed.

If you have a Thomas set and a kid, it won’t be long until you buy Annie and Clarabel, what would Thomas be without his coaches? They both arrived safely in a couple short days, ironic that they came by air. Same high quality and durability that we’ve come to expect from Thomas and his friends…at one of the cheaper prices around. Buy a set to go with them so you save the shipping.
