Product Description
The Troublesome Trucks are the rascals of Sir Topham Hatt’s Railway who take great delight in causing trouble for whichever engine has to pull them. Noisy and silly, they talk a lot and do not attend to what they are doing. The Troublesome Trucks are actually mixxed goods wagons, so they can be used at all areas on the island, but especially enjoy causing trouble at the coal mines and quarries.

Thomas becomes more animated than ever! We gave these to our son for his third birthday. They have become a much loved part of his wooden railway system. He loves to pretend they are making trouble and giggling all the while. We’ve only had them a few weeks, but they seem to be very durable and have already received enough play to be well worth the cost. We highly recommend this addition to any wooden railway set.

My three year old had some money to spend for his birthday so we let him pick out a few new trains for his Thomas set. He couldn’t live without these troublesome trucks. After all, they are pretty cute. Well, three weeks later and they no longer giggle. Although I was kind of annoyed that this happened to a new toy I was going to replace the batteries. I figured maybe we just got the old package that sat on the shelf too long. Then a friend came over and told me that her son’s troublesome trucks no longer giggle either. His were given to him for his birthday, just a few weeks before my son received his. It’s still a great toy, and definitely well loved, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

My grandson was at our house awhile back. I happened to be on another site looking at the different Thomas products. We have Thomas trains, tracks etc. at our house so I was looking for something new & different. He saw these & said he wanted them. I told him not right then but maybe soon. His birthday was just last week & when he opened his gift, these were in it. His dad said he even slept with these. They are very enjoyable for him to play with. A very entertaining little pair of freight cars…giggling is just a pressed button away. And, a lot better price here than other sites or other stores I went to.

As usual, Learning Curve delivers a great, sturdy product for my son’s Thomas set. He loves those Troublesome Trucks, and loves to make up practical jokes to have them do as he’s playing with his set.

The Troublesome Trucks add that bit of conflict that makes life interesting on Sodor Island. Mischievous and schemers, they are always causing problems for the engines. The faces show that personality, and when you press the red tarp, the trouble-makers giggle like mad! Not overly loud, which is a plus in my book.
The other great thing about these cars is the rickety motion they have while rolling down the track. The wheel base is separate from the car (held together with a metal bar), which allows movement–rocking and shaking back and forth as it rolls. Just adds more depth to the character and is really a lot of fun.
