Stanley Wed, 30 Jun 2010 20:08:12 +0000 http://thomasandfriendsonline.com/thomas-friends-wooden-railway-roundhouse-set#comment-899 I purchased this Thomas Round House set for my son and have had many problems with the battery opporated trains working correctly. 1st - the trains cannot climb the second tier, 2nd - trains run off the track on the 4 most outer corners, and 3rd - the poor quality of the tracks have rounded edges which allow the trains to run off the tracks. <br /> <br />I have purchased two other sets and not had the problems like the Round House Set. We love that it comes with a toy box and our little guy loves to sit on the back seat to watch his Thomas DVD's. The quality is outstanding & it was fairly easy for Santa to set up the night before Christmas. We did have to put the bridges & incline pieces of track away for now as they kept coming apart. We may decide to glue them together after we move. Overall we are delighted with this Thomas set. Our only problem is that it does not stay together. Our son is gentler than most with his toys, and things still fall apart frequently. We thought about using wood glue, or even finishing nails to keep things from always falling over. We have not tried anything yet, though. The toy box is GREAT and is played with almost as much as the tracks! Since he loves to sit in and on it to play train, it is not being used for storage as we had hoped. Oh, well!
