A man was hit by a flying propeller from the Harold ride.
If you want a SAFE, and FUN day out, go to a preserved railway. Much better than this PC Nonsense.

What a bunch of whingers and cynics! How wonderful for kids to be able to see Thomas at Thomas Land or the railways – whichever their families choose.
Thomas is a character that lives at neither of these places. Thomas lives in a child’s imagination. To get shirty at HIT/Thomas Land over concern over revenue for the individual railways shows your hearts aren’t in the right place. Thomas isn’t there so serve the railway.
Turn your tv off and get out amongst it!

I cant wait to take my 2 year old son, he loves anything to do with thomas .. i think its a great idea!! we’ve been to the thomas track at drusillias in sussex but this looks lots more fun.

I agree with everyone, this is just going to drive people away from preservation railways, just so parents can take their kids to see a fake model at a theme park.
This is hideous. Allowing children to get up close and on the tracks is wrong. Do that in real life, the consequences are bad.
Beside, go to a proper railway to see Thomas, not this money-grabbing heap of junk.
for goodness sake its for kids you do get shirty over the slightest things get a life my 3 year old loves it!and thats who its meant for!!and he has been on steam trains too.
hit should die! thank go they wernt around in my younger days. when i went to day out with thomas in 95 96 97 98 99 2000 they used real steam engins for thomas. hit uses deisels coverd with a thomas body.
my local “real railway” hired an actual thomas steam engine, and has 4 thomas weekends a year, the connection help bring alot of business to them and keeps them going!
Rip off, and could spell the end of proper steam engines like the Rev Awdry wrote about in the original books

“Thomas” the steam locomotive, as powered by an internal combustion engine…what a con! Take your kids to one of the many fine STEAM railway Thomas events at preserved lines around the country to see the full-size “real thing” instead of this money-grabbing farce.
why go see a DIESEL dressed up as thomas when you can go see a thomas that runs on real steam , coal and water???

this is exactly the reason why real railways suffer from lack of intrest from the paying public, the massive HIT Entertainment company offers so much “Plasticy” replacements for children, they dont have a clue what a real steam engine is!!!!
